In keeping with the Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi’s clarion call to make India the Global Hub for electro-mobility to cut down carbon emissions to zero, ZAP Mobility Private Limited along with the five-decade-old Amar Coach Builders has since converged as a significant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in India for electric buses and commercial vehicles. After a modest beginning in the early seventies as a bus and coach bodybuilder, Amar made a major dent in the Indian automobile industry after signing off a joint venture with Daewoo Bus in Korea and later on with FOTON, the world’s single-largest bus manufacturer for launching their range of buses in India.
The company desires to meet the unsatiated demand for electric buses for Schools, staff buses, and the huge segment of the Super luxury, luxury tourism industry. Similarly, the company plans to concentrate on the mid& last mile cargo delivery segment by its 9T and its 3.5 Ton light commercial vehicles.

Management Team
The company is spearheaded by Anand Vardhan as Founder and Chairman, and Mr. Sanjiv Banerji, as Managing Director and Mr Nirdosh Dhiman as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
