In keeping with the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s clarion call to make India the Global Hub for electro-mobility to cut down carbon emissions to zero, ZAP Mobility Private Limited along with the five-decade-old Amar Coach Builders has since converged as a significant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in India for electric buses and commercial vehicles. After a modest beginning in the early seventies as a bus and coach bodybuilder, Amar made a major dent in the Indian automobile industry after signing off on a joint venture with Daewoo Bus in Korea and later on with FOTON, the world’s single-largest bus manufacturer for launching their range of buses in India.

ZAP Mobility Private Limited responding to Prime Minister Modi’s global commitment to help reduce carbon emissions to zero, has embarked on an electric vehicle manufacturing with a missionary zeal. The company is going the extra mile by launching simultaneously a passenger vehicle Operation on a pan India basis to enable India meet its carbon emission reduction targets at an accelerated pace. The company desires to meet the unsatiated demand for electric buses for Schools, staff buses, and the huge segment of the Super luxury, luxury tourism industry. Similarly, the company plans to concentrate on the mid& last mile cargo delivery segment by its 9T and its 3.5 Ton light commercial vehicles.
ZAP Mobility plans to design and develop through wholly indigenous technology electric buses especially for those segments of the passenger transport industry that will provide for an immediate impact on the environment by reducing carbon emissions in a geometrical progression.
